The Fear (Part I)

The father had a special affection for the young man, although he was intelligent, he doubted his abilities to take charge of some of the family businesses.

He found him intelligent, but weak, without character, with an absence of malice that made him a danger to his businesses. And the family business required cruelty, and malice, a cold ability to deal with evil.

The father was a drug trafficker and the boy, moreover, was the son of his mistress. His wife knew it and that's why she hated him, as well as his other three brothers, much older than him.

The boy was already 21 years old and was studying in the United States, at a prestigious university on the east coast. He had everything and was the best. He kept him away from his businesses, from his enemies and from his other children. It was an open secret that the man's preference for this son and the annoyance it caused in his family and partners was a strange presence. The boy hardly participated in family events and his life was far from the dirt and complications of criminal action, with hitmen, bodyguards, safe houses, accountants, low-level lawyers, secret shipments, addicts, money laundering, secret accounts, dealers, territorial struggles, distribution systems, in short, everything that makes up a perverse and rotten industry, which stains everything it touches.

The boy lived in a bubble. From his childhood, he had only lived surrounded by lush protection and no one could approach him. Now, as a student, it was a bit more difficult to maintain that circle of protection, since he liked to party, go on dates, go to the gym, be with friends in bars and terraces, and go to exclusive resorts. On vacation, his life was very relaxed.

That day, he got up late and went to the gym, located very close to his exclusive condominium, greeted his mother who was by the pool, and didn't even use his luxurious sports car, he walked to the place, located about six blocks away. He was in a good mood and wanted to walk. When he arrived, he went to the locker room and when he was putting away his bag, he felt someone approaching from behind and when he turned around, a cloth with chloroform covered his mouth and nose - Immediately he lost consciousness and two tall men covered in ski masks grabbed him and took him to the parking lot and put him in the trunk, almost without being seen by the gym staff and other clients.

The car drove five blocks and the men took him to a parking lot where they changed vehicles: a passenger van. The boy was gagged, handcuffed, and chained, and introduced into a canvas bag. The men cleaned the original vehicle. The parking lot cameras had been previously disabled. There were no records of the kidnapping, except for those from the gym parking lot.
