Herr Karl slept little and poorly. He used to take a pill for that, but now it had little effect. A doctor had traveled to examine him and told him that what he was taking was no longer effective, suggesting that he practice sleep hygiene, based on improving the conditions, reducing the luminosity of the rooms, changing eating habits, bedtime and wake-up times, daily activities, etc. He followed the instructions, but nothing worked, he barely slept three or four hours.

In view of this, he decided to make more use of the slaves at his disposal.

In total, at that moment, he had 3 slaves living in the wing attached to the main house: the Mexican, the Algerian, and a German, the youngest, 20 years old. There were also three other slaves in their second phase of training: a Czech and two Romanians, and four prospects, among whom was Cuan.

And he was using them at his discretion: he harshly punished the three permanent ones, enjoyed the training and humiliation of those in preparation, and analyzed the prospects, seeing their possibilities and potential.

After that, he went to his bedroom, and with him went the 20-year-old German slave, called D-12, who was tall (185 cm), hairless, athletic, blond, extremely enduring, and 100% obedient.
