Things at work were getting worse every day. Sales had dropped by fifty percent, and in the hallways, people were talking about possible staff adjustments. And to make matters worse, there was Don Javier, the boss, who was in an even worse mood than usual. Normally, he was a very rude man with the employees, and everyone was afraid of him, but I particularly enjoyed the way he treated me. I must admit that I'm very masochistic, so his outbursts and contempt always got me excited. In the company, it was known that I was gay, but no one had ever given me problems or bothered me.

The call to Don Javier's office gave me a bad feeling. I knocked on his door, sweating and a bit anguished.

"Come in."

"Good morning, Don Javier, you're the one in charge."

"Ah, yes, David, I've been waiting for you. Let's not beat around the bush. You know better than anyone how things have been going lately. We need to get rid of personnel, and honestly, you're one of the most useless ones, don't take it personally, so you're fired. Here's your termination letter and your severance pay. Everything is legal, as you can see."

I almost fell to the floor from the shock, even though I had imagined this might happen, you never think it can happen to you.

I took a look at the papers, everything seemed correct, they were paying me around 6,000 euros for the termination, and I would still have unemployment benefits, but even so, what was I going to do without a job? The money and unemployment benefits would run out, and it wasn't easy to find another job.

"Please, Don Javier, I need this job, I'll take a pay cut if necessary, but don't fire me."

"The decision is made. Sign and leave, I'm very busy."

I don't know why, but I knelt at his feet and grabbed his leg.

"Don Javier, I'll do whatever you ask, but don't fire me."

"Have a bit more dignity and get up. Not even if you licked my shoes would I listen to you."

"I could lick your shoes and whatever you want, Don Javier."

His gaze lit up, and a smile appeared on his face. He took the cigar out of his mouth and blew smoke in my face. He sat down in his chair and spoke to me:

"This could be fun, maybe you'll brighten up my day. Crawl over here and lick my shoe soles with your tongue."

I threw myself at his feet and put my tongue to work like never before. I held his foot by the ankle and passed my tongue from top to bottom, taking all the delicious dirt I found to my mouth. On the second sole, I found a piece of gum stuck to it, it was already blackened and so stuck that it seemed to be part of the sole. I had to use my teeth and lips for a while.

"What a pity I didn't know before how much of a pig you were. We would have had a great time, especially me."

"Thank you, Don Javier, for letting me eat the dirt from your shoes."

"Nothing, scum. Take off my shoes and socks and lick...
