Punctuality is important (I)

Another Wednesday that he's late. I've always asked Alex to arrive on time: by 18:15 at the latest. It's 18:18 and I still haven't heard from him. What could have made him arrive so late?

I thought today was going to be a happy day. I had a surprise prepared for him. A very positive surprise: a dinner prepared by me, with two tickets bought for his favorite band. I had made myself handsome. We had arranged to go shopping, since the dog, Woof, needed a new leash. The vet told us that the leash on his neck hurts him and we should change it for a harness and a leash with some elasticity so it can adjust better.

But it's not going to be possible. Alex is late. Several months ago I explained to him that he has enough time to do everything I ask of him. That if he organizes himself well, he will be able to achieve it. But he isn't capable. And I'm getting tired; if he doesn't value either my time or our dog's, he's going to have to make up for it. Tonight he's going to receive a punishment he won't forget.

It's 18:18. I just got off the bus and I'm heading home. It's only 50 meters and I can already see the entrance. Today is a beautiful day, because we're going shopping and I have a gift prepared for my master. A few weeks ago I got a signed copy of an album by his favorite band. The days are beautiful since I'm with him. He organizes my life, I comply, and together we're happy. Although I've asked him several times to let me take the 17:25 bus instead of the 17:35 one; from half past on, the high school kids come out and make the bus take much longer to arrive. This means that on Wednesdays I always arrive late no matter how hard I try, and although he hasn't punished me yet, I think it won't be long. Sometimes I wonder if he does it on purpose; to have something to punish me for if I've successfully completed everything else.
