Martín returned from washing his penis and sat down in his boxers next to Pedro, watching a movie that had already started on TV. A few minutes passed. The plot wasn't engaging, but it didn't matter too much. They were still coming down from the adrenaline of what had just happened outside.

Pedro glanced sideways down the hallway.

"Why is this idiot taking so long?" he murmured.

"Go see if something's wrong with him," Martín suggested without taking his eyes off the screen.

Pedro got up lazily.

"I'm going to see what this fucker is up to."

He walked down the hallway barefoot, entered the bathroom, and pulled back the shower curtain with a jerk. Juan was leaning against the wall, with his palms open against the tiles, his head down, letting the warm water fall down his back and slide between his still inflamed buttocks. He didn't flinch. He didn't even look up.

"What's taking you so long?" Pedro asked.

"I was trying to relax a bit," Juan replied in a muted voice. "Everything hurts, Pedro. I've had enough."

Pedro looked at him in silence for a few seconds. Then he grabbed the towel hanging from the hook.

"Turn off the shower and come out. Come on."

Juan obeyed slowly. He stretched out his hand to turn off the faucet, lifted his leg to get out of the bathtub, which made his whole body hurt. He stood in front of Pedro with his head down, his body still trembling.

Pedro wrapped him in the towel and started drying him slowly, gently. He looked into Juan's eyes as he did it, holding his gaze when Juan dared to lift it.

"Calm down, little fucker," he said in a low voice. "You're doing very well."

Juan lowered his head again.

"I've had enough, Pedro. Seriously. They've been fucking and punishing me all weekend..."

"Shhh," Pedro silenced him. "And you're taking it like a champion. And I want you to keep doing that, okay?"

He passed the towel over Juan's shoulders, chest, back. Each movement was slow, almost tender. Juan felt his body relax a little with each touch.

"Let me see how your little ass is."

Juan turned obediently. Pedro put a hand on his buttock and touched it to feel the heat radiating from it.

"It's red," he commented without drama.

"It burns and hurts like a bitch," Juan said with a low moan.

Pedro put the towel over Juan's shoulders, hugged him around the waist, and kissed him softly on the mouth. Juan responded to the kiss with hunger, with need, and then rested his head on Pedro's shoulder, who kissed his neck slowly.

"Let's go to the bedroom, Pedro," Juan murmured against his skin. "Please. Just you and me..."

"No," Pedro said firmly, separating him slightly to look him in the eye. "Not yet."
