THE BET XVII - RAID

Suddenly, everything took an unexpected turn.

The boys from Julio’s wrestling team found out what was happening to their captain, and led by Abel, the oldest of them all, they had followed his trail and witnessed from a distance all the humiliations he had been subjected to.

Finally, seeing him turned into a true beast of burden, they decided it was time to intervene and prevent their captain, who had so many times saved the team’s honor, from being handed over as a slave to those women.

So they appeared on the scene ready to fight, and within a few minutes they demonstrated their physical superiority, since they made most of the rival team members flee, freeing Julio and taking both Carlos and the traitor Raúl prisoner, who looked at them both frightened and furious.

After untying Julio, they helped him rid himself of his rings, which really were not permanent as they had told him, so presumably the tattoos were temporary as well. Afterwards they gave him some briefs and a sports outfit, which he put on, recovering his dignity once again.

Finally, they got into their vehicles, taking Carlos and Raúl with them, with the purpose of giving them what they deserved.

During the ride, however, both of them expressed their arguments, apologizing to Julio for everything that had happened.

We tricked you, man, you can see that neither the rings nor the tattoos were permanent. In a month they will disappear completely from your body without leaving any visible trace of their existence.

Raúl added: “I had to hand you over, man.” “It was one of the conditions they imposed on us when we lost the bet.”

For his part, as they were nearing the gym, Carlos argued that his team had lost countless times and had always fulfilled their part of the deal. And that now, when they had finally won fairly, they had been assaulted and were about to pay unjustly.

Okay, man, he added, addressing Julio directly. It is true that we deceived you. It is true that we had pretended to cross the line. But in reality we did not break any rule, and we never intended to hand you over to the amazons. It was only a test to make you beg us for mercy and break the shell you always wear as an invincible, unbreakable alpha male.

He could not finish the sentence, because at that moment they were arriving at the gym, and the wrestling team was dragging him out with shoves, taking him directly to the weight room......
