THE BET XV. - AWAKENING

Julio woke up covered in sweat.

He was in his room, sweating, lying face down on his bed, with the sheets all tangled up, completely naked..... He looked around and realized that it had all been a bad dream, a nightmare that kept getting worse as it unfolded.

He got out of bed, put on his briefs, a dental-floss thong type that his girlfriend had given him, and looked at the neighbor, who was waving at him from the balcony opposite.

What a view I’ve been giving him! Julio thought, aware of his half-nakedness.

He went out into the living room, where Raúl was, his roommate, vice-captain of the wrestling team and colleague at the police station. He was also in briefs, though more modest ones, boxer-style, having breakfast.

As always, he left the door open, to let the steam from the hot water out. That was the usual thing when they were alone at home.

He let the water fall over his face and over his pectorals. He rubbed his lean, muscular body hard, showering calmly. Enjoying the sensation that the hot water gave to his splendid physique.

When he came out of the bathroom, barely covered with a hand towel, something caught his attention.

He felt the trigger of a gun against the back of his neck. Probably his own service pistol.

Stay calm, Julio, he heard behind him. It was Raúl’s voice, sounding threatening.

Put your hands on the back of your neck, I’m going to put the handcuffs on you, he told him, and added: “Today is the day of your delivery as a slave at the gym on Avenida” “Carlos and his boys are already on their way to pick you up”.
