CHAPTER IV

The relationship between Carlos Alberto and Ariel grew stronger. Camelia, the boy's mother, and Carlos Alberto would talk. She knew they had met at the gym and that they would often go to the beach together on his motorcycle. This man had taken her son to the doctor one day when she couldn't accompany him due to work, and she was very grateful. Now, Carlos Alberto wouldn't leave the boy at a distance from his house; there was no problem with dropping him off right at the door. Sometimes he would even chat with her in the doorway, and other times he would come inside and accept a drink.

Two summers after they met at the gym, Carlos Alberto welcomed his son, Lucas, into his home for a month. Lucas quickly bonded with Ariel, as they were the same age, which made things easier. Before, Lucas hadn't enjoyed spending time with his father because he would leave his friends behind and get bored. It only took a couple of days for the boys to become delighted with each other. It's true that Ariel made an effort to get along with his partner's son. However, a month was a long time for his sexual needs, and he was "climbing the walls" and jerking off was no longer enough.

Camelia found out about Lucas's visit and invited them over for dinner one day. She made a great effort to prepare a delicious meal, and it turned out fantastic. Lucas was thrilled. After dinner, they moved to the living room for dessert. At that moment, Camelia's phone rang; it was her sister, Lucas's aunt, who lived less than a kilometer away. She was very interested in meeting Carlos Alberto's son, and since Camelia had a very good opinion of the boy, the idea arose for them to visit her.

• Camelia: "Shall we go to my sister's house? She says she wants to meet Lucas."

• Lucas: "I'd be delighted, ma'am."

• Ariel: "Okay, mom, why don't you go with Lucas? Carlos Alberto already knows her, and he can take me to his house on the motorcycle. I'm staying with them today, and we'll go to the beach early tomorrow. He can take me on the motorcycle, and then when Lucas calls, he can pick him up. You know that if we get caught with three people on the motorcycle, he'll get a fine."

Carlos Alberto didn't understand anything, but knowing his son, he didn't ask any questions or say anything.

• Carlos Alberto: "Yes, of course. I know I'm leaving him in good hands."

• Lucas: "Dad, I'm not a kid who needs to be taken care of."

• Ariel: "Then let's go... mom, take your time so Carlos Alberto doesn't have to rush with the motorcycle."

• Camelia: "Don't worry, son. You know how talkative your aunt is, so I don't think it will be brief... if Lucas doesn't have any problems..."

• Lucas: "No, not at all. Don't worry."
