I'm a 62-year-old adult man, somewhat lonely, with no friends, and my day consists of waking up in the morning, going to work, and returning home, a routine that has been mine for years. I'm close to retirement.

One of these days, on my way back from work in the afternoon, as I passed by one of the stores on my route, I noticed some screams coming from inside one of them. I couldn't resist my curiosity and went to take a look. It was the owner scolding and hitting an older, disheveled man. I couldn't bear it and asked what the problem was, why he was hitting that poor man, who must have been around 55 years old. The owner explained that the homeless man had stolen some merchandise and was caught trying to run away. The homeless man interrupted, shouting that he was just hungry and hadn't eaten in days, but the store owner didn't care and was going to call the police. I told him it wasn't necessary, that I would take care of it, and asked him to please give the man another chance. He seemed like a good person, with blue eyes, gray hair, and a beard of the same color.

After several minutes, the owner accepted, and I paid for the merchandise the poor man had taken. I took him to my home to help him get off the streets and find a job.

The first thing I told him as soon as we entered the house was to take a good bath to wash off all the dirt on his face and body. I managed to find some pants and black t-shirts with red hearts that fit him perfectly once he was clean. I prepared a good meal for him to satisfy his hunger, and while he ate, I told him that I also needed to take a bath and that after eating, he could watch TV if he wanted to. He nodded, and I went to bathe. I had a date that afternoon and needed to get ready.

So, I put on a suit, a blue and navy tie, a white shirt, navy blue pants, executive socks with a stronger heel and toe, and black moccasin shoes. I looked good, handsome, and well-dressed.

When I finished changing and grooming, the poor man told me he was very sleepy and wanted to sleep. I had a spare room for when visitors came, so I told him he could stay there, no problem. As he entered the room, he quickly took off his shoes, pants, and shirt, and got into bed. He told me he wanted to give me a hug for everything I was doing for him. I approached him to hug him, but he took advantage of the moment to put a rag he had taken from his previous clothes over my face. It was dampened with some substance, and he pressed it firmly, making me feel like I was getting weaker and weaker. My arms and legs were loosening to the point where I fell onto the bed, still conscious but unable to speak or move a finger.
