"How's your old lady?" Pedro asked. "Is she still bothering you about the doctor's appointment?"

"Yes, I called her yesterday. She has an appointment next week for the tests. She's nervous."

"That's normal. At her age, any test makes them nervous."

"I told her I'd accompany her."

"That's good. It's what's expected."
