The fate of Kemuel 29

Viktor and David are about to leave when Damián speaks.

"Wait."

Both of them stop at the door. They turn towards Damián.

Damián is standing next to the mattress where you are lying. His chain is hanging from his right hand. His gaze is cold and calculating.

"I have a proposal for you."

Viktor frowns. "What proposal?"

Damián points around the room. The other kids are watching in silence.

"This apartment is good. Big. Well-located. And the bitch..." He points at you with contempt. "The bitch is of the first quality. Perfect for the business I have in mind."

David crosses his arms. "What business?"

"Prostitution. But seriously. Not like what you two were doing." Damián approaches them. "I have contacts. I have clients. I have a group of guys who can get more bitches like this one. And this apartment can be the base of operations."

Viktor looks at him with distrust. "What do we have to do with that?"

"You can stay. Live here. Work with me." Damián looks at them fixedly. "You know the apartment. You know the neighborhood. And you have experience handling the bitch."

David laughs bitterly. "Are you offering us a job?"

"I'm offering you to be part of my group. My thugs. My partners." Damián swings his chain. "There will be money. A lot of money. More than you've ever seen in your life."

Viktor thinks for a few seconds. "What's the catch?"

"There's no catch. But there are conditions." Damián approaches them more closely. "If you accept, you live under my rules. This apartment is no longer yours. It's mine. The bitch is no longer yours. She's mine. And I'm the boss. You obey. Period."

David looks at Viktor. Viktor looks at David.

Damián continues. "I make all the decisions. I decide when to use the bitch. I decide who uses her. I decide how we use her. You execute my orders. Nothing more."

"What if we don't accept?" Viktor asks.

Damián shrugs. "Then you leave. And the bitch stays with me anyway. But you lose the opportunity to make money and to keep enjoying her."

He pauses. Looks at you on the mattress. Your swollen stomach. Your destroyed body.

"Besides, if you leave, you'll have to find another apartment. Another job. Another bitch." Damián smiles. "Do you really want to start from scratch?"

Viktor and David look at each other again. They exchange complicit glances.

Finally, Viktor speaks.

"How much money are we talking about?"

"Thousands. Every month." Damián responds without hesitation. "I have clients who pay very well for bitches like this one. And I'm going to get more. Three. Four. Five bitches. All working from here."

David whistles. "Damn."

"But remember." Damián raises a finger. "Under my rules. I'm in charge. You obey. If you don't like it, you leave right now."
