Chance (Part III)

It was said by Cervantes "He who does not know how to enjoy good fortune when it comes, should not complain if it passes", and Alessio did it in depth and without regret.

The fortune that had been so elusive in his first 23 years of life, now gave him its favors, without limits. He traveled a lot, went to live in Barcelona, already with success and a career, started to monetize his social media and earn money with which he could save. He spent seasons in Rome, New York, and Paris for various jobs.

He managed to have 330,000 followers on Instagram and nearly a million on TikTok, developing content based on his image, his exercise routines, and blogs about his daily life.

He didn't have a fixed residence, he stayed in Airbnb, hostels, and hotels, when the brands that sponsored him paid.

He really felt that his dream was coming true. He fulfilled important challenges such as running the Barcelona marathon, and its 42 km route was a challenge that he documented and earned him followers and recognition. Apart from that, he dedicated himself, almost obsessively, to training, which had given him great results and partly explained his good numbers on social media. His collaborations were very satisfactory, and he achieved knowledge and recognition.

Clearly, he was handsome, and having overcome his acne problems, when things were going well for him, it reinforced his self-esteem and security.

But he had pending issues. They were not essential or critical matters, but they were important.

To resolve some of those situations, he returned to the city after several months of absence, with a very different panorama and perspective.

He returned to the city of his definitions, and the first thing he did was to walk around it, to retrace his steps, and he tried to contact Alex, from whom he had contacts, but he didn't dare to locate him. He did it alone in the city, and the response from the handsome entrepreneur was one of surprise and joy.

Alessio felt a strange attraction to Alex, but also a sincere gratitude. Similarly, he recognized and knew that Alex was a bit abusive in a relationship that had been asymmetrical and almost dominant.

They agreed to meet that afternoon, and the reunion was satisfactory: both ratified their perceptions and convictions. Alessio found Alex to be a successful, secure, and welcoming man, and Alex, for his part, laughed that the young man was much more athletic and handsome, with better self-esteem, but also with that dependent behavior and the need to be welcomed and recognized.

They had already gotten along, and Alex had helped him, but Alessio needed more, to discover the meaning of his own life.
