Thomas and Mark, after starting their romantic relationship, discover together the deep happiness that their cohabitation and the care of Max bring them. Mark, excited about this new stage, decides to release Kitty forever, putting an end to that unconscious part that inhabited him. Thus, Kitty ceases to exist, and Mark feels complete, more connected to himself and to Thomas.
