I still feel how that double life beats within me, something no one else can comprehend. From Monday to Friday, I'm the common boyfriend with Tomás, we talk, plan our future, share laughter and the sweet warmth of a whispered "I love you". But every Friday afternoon, when I pass through his door, I know something huge is about to change. I don't just put on the scarf or become "Max", I'm a different world: without worries, without judgments, just a happy and devoted dog.

This secret, kept between the two of us, gives me life. I enjoy seeing how Tomás relaxes while taking care of me, how he laughs at my antics, and although sometimes I worry about disappearing from his human side during the weekend, his smile tells me yes, that this unites us. But when Marcos discovered us, I feared everything would end. I won't lie, hypnotizing him like Kitty was more than necessary, but also painful. What if he never went back to being the Marcos I knew?

Luis and Max are two souls in one body. I see it every weekend: pure joy, unfiltered devotion. And outside of that, my boyfriend, the man who hugs me, listens to me, and whom I love. The line between the two is blurry but deep. Marcos appeared without warning and I still feel a chill to this day. We hypnotized him to protect ourselves, and now we have Kitty in our house, a distrustful cat who hides a friend.

Every day I spend with Luis/Max teaches me about patience, affection, and that love that breaks schemes. Keeping this secret has made us accomplices, and although sometimes I feel fear that all this will come to light, the bond we form is so strong that there's no going back.

Woof! I'm Max when no one sees me, and being a dog is the most fun thing in the world. I roll, give my paw, chase imaginary balls, and my tail (the one that almost no one sees) moves non-stop.

Sometimes I'm surprised by how much I like living like this, without human worries, just enjoying the moment. But I remember Tomás and how he spoils me, how he also becomes the best human a dog could ask for. As for Marcos, I don't know what to think. Now he's Kitty, feline but nervous, always hidden. Why doesn't he play with us? I hope he soon goes back to being who he was.

I never thought that one day I'd wake up being Kitty, a scaredy-cat who meows and avoids touching people. At first, the confusion was brutal; I saw Luis and Tomás with something that seemed like care, affection, but also fear. I don't fully understand what happened to us, or if I'll soon go back to being "Marcos".

This metamorphosis forces me to observe and listen without being able to speak. Sometimes I feel like a prisoner, but I also understood that friendship and love, from any form, are not things that one can break. Luis and Tomás trapped me to protect themselves, yes, but also to maintain a world where they can be themselves....
