The BDSM universe is full of acronyms. DD/little boy is one of those acronyms.

With them, reference is made to a BDSM relationship in which the Dominant part identifies with a father (Daddy Dominant) and the submissive part identifies with a son, a young boy (little boy). Thus, the Daddy Dom/Little boy relationship would be a type of Dominance/submission (D/s) relationship in which the Dominant part not only guides the submissive, but also protects them, just like a father would protect his son: in a special way.

When talking about a FATHER/SON relationship, one might think that the Dominant part must be significantly older than the submissive part to give greater verisimilitude to the respective roles. In truth, it is not necessary. In fact, for this type of BDSM relationship to work well, to bear fruit and for these to be satisfactory for both parts of the relationship, only what is commonly necessary in all BDSM relationships is necessary: that the Dominant part and the submissive part are compatible with each other.

About FATHER/SON relationships, as with other types of D/s relationships, a series of myths and prejudices have been created that certainly do not have to correspond to reality. There are people who consider that behind the SON hides a man who suffers from a certain degree of Electra complex (but in this case, the opposite, for the Father), since we are talking about a SON, that is: that, to a greater or lesser extent, is in love with his father. Other people, on the other hand, consider that the SON is a man who, in some way, lost something during childhood and that the fact of participating in a FATHER/SON relationship only expresses, in some way, the psychological need of that man, to return to the time of his childhood to recover what he lost in his day. Undoubtedly, the fact that a man has an attraction to participating, as a SON, in a DD/lb relationship, does not have to be related to the motivations exposed.

Within DD/lb, as within other types of BDSM relationships, different varieties can be found. There are participants who share with the practice of DD/lb the fondness for ageplay, that is, role-playing games in which participants simulate having an age different from the one they actually have. Does that mean that all FATHER/SON lovers are also ageplay lovers? No. In fact, there are many DD/lb practitioners for whom "age games" have no appeal.

The sexual variations of the age game can include, among other things, incest games, where individuals recreate and sexualize roles within a family or the fetishism of daddy's boys in which real or imaginary age differences are the basis of the role-playing game.
