I had been working hard for four days, wondering if that young kid would end up going to the police station to get the thing out of his ass or if he had already taken it out himself and found the keys. It was all a mystery, but since I didn't have either of the two numbers, I couldn't do anything to find out.

The iPhone arrived on Tuesday, and now it's a pleasure to deliver with GPS on my mobile. Although I'm still not arriving very punctually at the deliveries. It was 2:20 PM, and my shift would end at 4:00 PM. I only had two packages left to deliver; the first one to a recipient in a building in the Gothic Quarter and the other to a Zara store at Puerta del Ángel.

I put on my seatbelt again as I got into the car and headed as quickly as possible to the nearest parking lots in the area of the first delivery. I wanted to get rid of the package as soon as possible so I could go have a calm beer. I parked as close as possible to the delivery point, but I still had to walk for about 12 minutes through the streets of the Gothic Quarter, according to the GPS. As I got out of the car, I smoothed my blond hair back, stretched to make my white t-shirt fit my muscles correctly, adjusted my package, and put on my glasses while looking in the rearview mirror.

I walked without getting lost thanks to the indications on my new iPhone, paid for by the police, and arrived at the indicated portal. One of those old buildings with classic facades stood in front of me. Inside, money was being handled, and there was only one apartment per floor, which made me calculate that each apartment could be around 130 square meters. With the package in hand and the signature system on top, I rang the bell they had specified, and without a word, through the intercom, since the camera had already warned them of my presence, they opened the double access door. The interior was spacious, although the staircase was narrower than expected in an entrance with three huge floors and a leather sofa near the mailboxes.

As it was the second floor and I liked to exercise my ass, I always took the opportunity to go up the stairs, and that day was no different. I ascended to the second floor, and a tall, somewhat older woman was already waiting for me with the door ajar. I greeted her, handed her the package, and she signed. She gave me a tip, 50 euros. It wasn't bad, so I thanked her several times for the gesture and prepared to go down the stairs.

I heard voices from the landing below, two voices, both masculine and youthful. I turned the stairs to the first floor, and there, in the middle of the last stairs, two young guys, no more than 23 years old, were sitting next to each other, leaving no room to pass, playing on their mobile phones.
